Concert of Sumeet Anand Pandey and Balázs Virágh
Where: Himalayan Centre Potala, Horovo nám. 3, Prague Date: 12 November 2019 In their first performance in the Czech Republic and chamber atmosphere of Potala centre, vocalist Sumeet Anand, accompanied by Balázs Virágh on pakhawaj demonstrated the art of dhrupad and its wonderful ability to induce peaceful and meditative state in the minds of the listeners. The audience had a chance to experience two rāgas – late afternoon/early evening Multani and late night Jaijaivanti, each of them approximately one hour long.
